Research Interests
I am interested in executive function and substance use in adolescents. In particular, I am investigating the effects of childhood proximal abandonment, neglect, and/or violence exposure on developing stress and emotion neural networks, and the subsequent effects of these altered networks on decision-making regarding substance use in adolescence.

Other Pursuits and Interests
In my spare time, I enjoy playing piano, skiing, traveling, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy trail and road running, hope to run the 2012 Boston Marathon on behalf of a Down Syndrome Research charity, and would like to one day run the Great Wall Marathon.
