Research Interests

My primary research interests involve examining psychological factors that are implicated in the development, maintenance, and treatment of eating disorders. In particular, I am interested in the role of social and family relationships throughout the recovery process, and in examining the efficacy of interventions that enhance readiness and motivation for change. Finally, given that co-morbidity may have an impact on the long-term course of eating disorders in women, I have a strong interest in other mental health disorders and addictions that commonly co-occur in this population.
