Research Interests
Current research interests focused on understanding the process of recovery from addiction as it unfolds within daily life contexts and how gender plays a role. I am also interested in researching recovery across a greater breadth of addiction with the hopes of developing a recovery model. Besides addiction, I am interested in returning to research into how people construct, live out and make sense of their spiritual lives.

Other Pursuits and Interests
I am a husband and father of three small children. I have taken up long boarding during my PhD studies after a lifetime of never owning a skateboard. I love the outdoors and am hopeful for the days where we can take our kids on overnight hiking and biking trips.
