Research Interests
My current research focuses on female-to-male transgender men, specifically the relationship between social isolation and increased risk for addition and mental health disorders. Previously I looked at crystal methamphetamine use among gay men in Vancouver, an extension of more than 10 years of community work focused on gay men's health, particularly HIV/AIDS.

Other Pursuits and Interests
My interest in Art History hasn't subsided with my academic shift to Social Work. Visiting the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection is like a visit with old friends.
