Research Interests
Erin is a graduate student in the Master of Social Work program at UBC Okanagan. I am writing my master’s thesis on young women’s perceptions, knowledge, and interest in information about tobacco smoke as a risk factor for premenopausal breast cancer. Young women’s preferred health messaging strategies regarding this risk factor, and barriers to messaging, are explored. Other areas of research interest include psychosocial oncology, addictions, and rural and remote health.
