Research Interests
My research interests include: adolescent health; adolescent girls' smoking; parent-adolescent relations; sex and gender based analysis; and mixed methods research. For my dissertation research, I will be looking at the social context and meaning of mother - daughter smoking from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Other Pursuits and Interests
I have two young boys who keep me focused on the important stuff. I also volunteer for "Coffee for Change", a fundraising project that supports poor and homeless women and children. In my spare time I love to check out antique auctions, read fiction, and connect with friends.
