Roxanne Leung is currently completing a B.Sc. in Integrated Science with a Minor in English Literature at the University of British Columbia. Her Integrated Science program connects three diverse specializations (Physiology, Biochemistry, and Genetics) by focusing on their roles in human anatomy, and includes courses from a variety of disciplines such as Food and Nutrition, Human Kinetics, and Developmental Genetics. She enjoys spending her time volunteering at Vancouver General Hospital and local events such as the Vancouver International Film Festival and Theatre Under the Stars. She worked for the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at UBC assisting in research on cardiac metabolism, and is excited to be involved in another aspect of research with the IMPART training program here at BCCEWH.
