Ellexis Boyle, PhD
IMPART Program Director

Dr. Boyle is an independent researcher and educator whose work and interests lie in women, health and social justice. She completed her B.A. at Melbourne University in her home country of Australia before moving to Canada to undertake an M.A in Women’s and Gender Studies and a Ph.D. in Kinesiology. Her graduate work has contributed to our understanding of the social, cultural and historical constructions of gendered bodies in relation to health, citizenship and power in North America. Ellexis is currently teaching "Masculinities" in the department of Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies at SFU. She is thrilled to be a member of the IMPART team.
