I am so much interested in pain research regarding acute postoperative pain, chronic non-cancer pain. In addition sex, gender differences in pain & analgesia. My main focus is to study new approaches for pain management that individualize pain treatment according to every patients needs that varies according to sex, gender, age and race aiming to minimize adverse events including addiction and drug abuse. I consider pain as a disease that should be treated adequately and effectively.
