Kate Jongbloed

Kate Jongbloed is pursuing a Master of Science in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of British Columbia's School of Population and Public Health. Her research focuses on harm reduction, housing stability and HIV vulnerability among young Aboriginal people who use drugs as part of the Cedar Project. She is the web coordinator for HealthyHousing.ca, a Canada-wide online resource on HIV and housing through the Fife House Foundation. She also blogs weekly for Plan Canada's Because I am a Girl campaign to engage young Canadian girls in global gender issues.
