Trainees and mentors can access the IMPART online course here:
If you do not yet have a login, please contact the IMPART Director to obtain one.
The online course covers the core concepts of Women, Gender & Addictions, with a focus on intersections of mental health, violence and trauma. The course is intended to provide basic background information so that trainees have a basis for discussion of topics within disciplines outisde their own. The modules also provide reading lists and links to useful resources to prepare trainees to get the most out of IMPART seminars and other activities.
The online course is a living, growing place of collaborative learning, in that comments, updates and additions by IMPART trainees and mentors will be integrated back into the online course in the next revision.
The modules are designed to be short (~60 minutes per module to complete) and self-paced, with integrated comments boxes to allow trainees (and mentors) to engage in a transdisciplinary discussion of the issues raised within the modules.
